Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation

Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the health sector between the RS Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the Ministry of Health of Republic of Serbia, signed by the RS Minister of Health and Social Welfare Prof. Dr Ranko Škrbić and the Serbian Minister of Health Prof. Dr Zoran Stanković in Belgrade on August 23, 2011, Republic of Srpska and Republic of Serbia are strengthening the cooperation in the field of health.

 

 

                                        

 

The RS Agency for Certification, Accreditation and Health Care Improvement and the Agency for Accreditation of Health Care Institutions of Serbia have signed the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation that regulates the frame of cooperation in the field of health care quality improvement and accreditation system of health care institutions, promoting the current informal cooperation. This agreement provides introduction and further strengthening of the cooperation in the field of harmonising accreditation standards and methodology of health care institution auditing, in the field of auditors' exchange and training and joint accreditation audits, on the activities of exchange and cooperation on development of application for monitoring and reporting health care quality indicators, as well as on other activities that are in accordance with both institutions' primary activities.

 

The Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed on September 29, 2011 at the RS Government offices by, on behave of the RS Agency for Certification, Accreditation and Health Care Improvement, director Siniša Stević, Msc, MD and, on behave of the Agency for Accreditation health Care institution of Serbia, director Snežana Manić, MD.
