Agreement for planning of phase 2 of B&H Mental Health Project

Successful cooperation between Agency for Certification, Accreditation and Health Care Quality Improvement of the Republic of Srpska and Mental Health Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be deepened through continuation of project activities. The Agreement on technical recommendation for planning of phase 2 of the Mental Health Project, Module 2: Intra- and inter-sectoral cooperation was signed on March 28, 2013 during a two-day seminar organised in Bern, Switzerland.

The Agreement was signed between Sinisa Stevic MD, Mr Sc, director of ASKVA, Ahmed Novo MD, director of the Agency for Quality and Accreditation in Health Care of Federation of B&H, Valérie Falbriard of the Coordination of the Swiss Cantons of Bern, Fribourg, Geneva and Jura, and Thomas Moser of the External Relation Service, Strategic committee.

The signatories have agreed on technical solutions defined in the Agreement represent a roadmap for “quick wins” and contribute to the fulfilment of the “long term objectives” and are based on following documents: Mental Health Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Module 2: Study, system analysis and scenarios for further initiatives (by L. Bürki); Workshop-paper: Business model canvas and Workshop-paper: Roadmap.

Implementation of activities on the second phase of the B&H Mental Health should start in next year.
